Hi- may I point out that those of us who take things apart to see what makes them tick have discovered that the high beam is not a LED at all-the blue led is a "lens" made to look like a LED, and a tiny incandescent bulb is plugged into the printed circuit. I am not sure of the wattage-it may be higher than that of a LED- there may be blue LED's available to replace the bulb-early Vanagons use a green LED for high beam. Check with America's favorite Radio Shack or other suppliers of electronic goods. On a side note- I replaced the dim fridge propane indicator LED with a high brightness LED with no problems. The fridge LED is either green or red. Blue might even be nice.
