I only paide 3 times that for my van! Actually, I find the lights are pretty darn good as they stand - better than the wife's minivan and my corolla. Very good for a 20 year old vehicle. I noticed this on a BMW motorcycle I owned also. European's know how to do headlights, and keep them adjusted correctly (part of the yearly inspection, least in England). -----Original Message----- From: Smola, Tony [mailto:TSmola@TRIBUNE.COM] Sent: Monday, March 18, 2002 8:03 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: HID headlight kit available for 7 inch round lights
For you bretheren with mucho dinero, you can now have the high priced luxury of HID lamps. They're form Sylvania.....XENARC HID system -improves peripheral and down-roas vision -3 times more light than halogen systems -lasts up to 10 times longer than halogen bulbs WOW!......these are really cool.....but alas they're $800........maybe less 20% for PCA discount I found them on http://performanceproducts.com catalog for 911.....they're awesome..... maybe next year they will be cheap enough for the masses....as will DVD burners
