My grandparents moved to Bayonne in 1968 from the Bronx. it sucked going there to visit.

I was married in Summit, NJ. My ex grew up in Morristown. Very nice place to live, an hour train ride to NYC. I have been through the cranberry bogs, I have seen the beautiful picturesque city of Camden.

There are actually wonderful Spanish restaurants in Newark, just south of the train station. There is a wonderful museum on the old Morris property in Morris Plains. Craftsman styling like you wouldn't believe.

The area down by Cape May is truly wild and wonderful.

And the odors going through Elizabeth would make a maggot barf.

So, yes, I apologize, NJ is OK (for a place on the east coast). I have no plans to make it back anytime soon.
