Subject: Engine removal
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Chris The engine is a three point mount, the rear crossmenber bolted at each end and the rubber mount at the front end of the tranmission. Remove the bolts at both ends of the crossmember and loosen the front trans rubber mount. The car has to be raised on ramps for this. Lower the jack under the engine and the whole engine will swivel to the ground, now put the jack under the front end of the transmissionn remove the rubber mount and lower the trans to the ground. Slide the whole thing from under the car and you are ready to work on it. re-assembly is in reverse order. No sweat one man operation done it twice. Strip engine of all unnecessary items first. Jack
