Anybody interested in bidding on some ex-US Army VW Diesel Double cabs?
They're in Germany so it's too far away for me. Just follow these
instructions, and you'll know as much as I do:

1.  Go to http://www.drms.dla.mil
2.  Click on I am a Private Co or Individual
3.  Click on BUY DRMS PROPERTY
4.  To see the truck listed on the website (no pix though) go to Property
Search, DRMO Site.
5.  In Section A, put the number 121691841 in the NIIN (9-digit) box, then
click Submit Search.
6.  Lo and behold, there are now 3 of those suckers showing up - 2 in
Bitburg, and the 1 in Kaiserslautern.  The sale number (IFB) for K-Town is
53-2355, item 0062, and the Bid Opening Date is 19 Mar (have to bid before
then, German time).  The 2 at Bitburg are in IFB # 53-2356, and that bid
opening is not until 16 Apr.  They are two different item numbers, 0556 and
0560.
7.  To view the current catalog, go back 2 screens to the "One Stop Page",
then to Get a Catalog, then select Listed in IFB order. Scroll down to the
IFB numbers and click on the 77K file for 53-2355 - This is the official
catalog for that sale.  Werner Rohde is the person to talk to if you have
questions.  011-49-6314118578  Scroll down to item 0062 for the truck.  It
tells you what's missing.
8.  Only the unofficial catalog is available for 53-2356, the 17K file.
