Let me know on this one too.  Since I replaced all the soft fittings mine
had been doing the same.  I almost feel the I have to drill a small vent
hole on top of the overflow tanks.

After time in Bentley, the archives, and my westy, I do not clearly
understand how air is supposed to enter the tank to replace the fuel drawn
off by the fuel pump. I removed, cleaned and replaced both
overflow/expansion tanks and the valves thy contain in the front wheel wells
today. My fuel tank is trying to collapse under suction when the van is
running. Guess my fuel pump works ok. Can someone fill me in?
