Please refer to the following email I sent to your company almost a month ago. I ordered the seat belt two months ago this Wednesday. When I received a reply from your sales dept. nearly a month ago, I was told that the seat belt was on the way and I would have it in hand in approximately two weeks. Did the stagecoach get robbed on the way down to North Carolina? When I order something from a company, I usually expect to receive the merchandise (if it is shown in a catalog, doesn't that imply that you have it in stock?) Please get back to me with a more believable answer so I know if I have to reorder the seat belt somewhere else or not. Just a hint on customer service: It is best to tell your customers upfront what is going on with their orders truthfully and honestly, because your customer deserves honesty and puts trust in the many vendors on the volks/vanagon lists where you all have a fairly captive audience, too. If you don't have an item, why don't you remove it from the catalog or website (this is where I ordered it from)? If I would have known the seat belt wasn't available from The Bus Depot, I would have looked elsewhere. I have tried to get a straight answer from the sales dept. at Bus Depot and I hope to receive a seat belt soon. The safety of my passengers is at stake. Thanks for looking into this matter............Rodney
