I am expecting a new engine from Boston Engine this week and am making
plans to remove the old engine this weekend.  I am going to design a cradle
to support the tranny as in the Bentley, that willl allow it to drop down
about 4 inches.  How far do I have to raise the back end to have sufficient
room to get the engine out?  I am not sure I have enough ceiling clearance
to do this in my garage.  I will probably end up doing the entire swap in
my driveway.   Should I run the back end up on ramps or do I not need this
much height?  Is 4 or 6" of blocks OK or should I use two jacks and jack
stands?  I don't want to take it up any higher than necessary.
