Debra,

The lens is some sort or polymer and quite flexible. It's adhesion comes from wetting the lens with a thin layer of water and simply attaching it to the glass. From there you can adjust it's position and blot out the air bubbles. I've had mine in place for 5 years and it held up from the original installation and remains clear to this day. It's an outstanding product and IMO well worth the $20.00 they typically sell for. My wife just had me install one on her Honda CR-V to assist with parking, backing up etc. Hope this helps and bye for now.

Tom, So the magnifier just sticks to the inside (or outside) of the hatch window? Does this magnify without distortion? Sounds like something I'd like to try. It's such a relatively small space for good backward vision anyway.
