Subject: Need help with propane filling! Can the fill valve stick?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

I just came from the propane fill station. The tank won't take any as per the attendant.

Is there a secret to filling the Westy's tank? The Westy glove box manual doesnt say anything about how to fill.

What I know:

Stove works, tank has something in it.

Small bleed valve thingy w/ spin dial on side of fill valve will release gas.

Lightly pushing red cap on other side of the fill valve does nothing. Should it?

Is the valve maybe stuck? It hasn'r been used in at least 4 years. Can it be unstuck? If not, is a replacement availible?

Thanks again all! sorry for the bother but I'm now on the road for the next month!

PS please pmail any advice to SVOMikey1@yahoo.com

Mikey
