Here in Salt Lake, light rail has passed with flying colors...the Olympics would not have been the same without it. Now there is serious pressure to build it to connect Ogden and Provo (40 & 50 miles no. and so. of SL) to reduce both traffic congestion and pollution. All the nay-sayers have been proven emphatically wrong. Likely it will happen. Interesting that the landowners want to sell their land to build another freeway north of Salt Lake, but don't like the idea of light rail....can you say greed! We are slow monkies to face change, and once we have the banana in our hand, we would rather lose the hand than let go. Obligatory vanagon content: Going to take mine to Moab this weekend.
