John, Didn't realize you were looking to use oversize pistons. If the deck height remains the same, you will not raise the compression enough to worry about it. I think the cost of the special pistons and rings will be prohibitive though.

I realize larger pistons with matching rings would be required. I'm concerned about what the increased compression will do in terms of additional heat generated.

I'm pretty easy on the machinery, but some things that are induced by alterations could be destructive, or could shorten the live of the engine and may be beyond my control.
