I run my tires at 50/50 psi. If they get down below 45, the handling starts
to feel kinda mushy. No, I don't feel that the ride is too harsh.
I am running Yoko 356 load range C on the GL.
The Westy hasn't been on the road for a while ('bout a year), but I've had
Lee Pathfinder 27x8.50 14 LT tires on it for about 250K, and been happy with
them. Next tires are either gonna be Agelis or Yoko 356 Ds, and I'll run
them at 50/50 also.
