Subject: power loss in 82 van
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hey folks...

Just got back from a six day road trip and the van ran superbly all the way down from here in London Ontario, to west virginia, and then to DC and New York City. On my way home, about 100 miles from London, the van bucked a couple of times, and lost power. It's running smoothly now, but it's still low on power. I suspected some type of fuel system problem, so I started by replacing the fuel filter. I also replaced the cap and rotor for good measure, and ran a bottle of injector cleaner through it, but it didn't seem to help. I'm short on cash after my trip and cant really afford to take it in to the shop. Any suggestions on what to check next? The plugs and wires are relatively new, and I've recently been through and fixed all of the old grounds I could find.

Thanks folks!

Greg.
