Oh, and I almost forgot. Most home speakers are not well suited for use with car stereos. Car stereos are designed for use with 4 ohm speakers. Most home speakers are 8 ohms. Using an 8 ohm speaker on a car stereo will reduce its perhaps-already-meager power output by an additional 25 to 50%. If you do want to use home speakers, look for ones that are very sensitive (around 90 db/1w/1m or higher) and have a 4 ohm nominal impedence. - Ron Salmon The Bus Depot, Inc.
