I finally got a decent day to go out and try and find out why my '85 GL won't stay running. I have two questions. Where is the infamous Transmission ground wire usually found and where does it attach to the frame or what else does it attach to? When checking secondary resistance on the coil (pg. 28.32, fig. 6 of my Bentley) it appears that you connect your meter to a tab on the left and also the center coil wire tower (the one that feeds the distributor). Is this correct? I can wait awhile for the answers. I am going to go out and test the injectors first. Thanks, Walter Evens Hesperia, CA, USA 2-85GLs |
