help, i have this problem with my vanagon (stock 87 syncro) while it is warming up the idle is up to about 1600 rpm, and once it is warm there is excessive hesitation right off the line. i have to slip the clutch untill im going about 10 miles an hour and it will stall in 2nd gear if i let the rpm's drop below 2000. any ideas? its really cold and rainy in upatate ny so i havent looked at the engine. someone said it might be a vac. leak but i really dont know and city driving is starting to get real bad. thanks everyone chris fryer 87 vanagon syncro gl 85 8v scirocco wolfsburg
