OK Here is the update! I left the sardines in the van, came inside to develop an advanced strategy. Got some roast scraps and water in one of those double sided serving dishes. I went outside and was thinking that the door wasn't left open enough, maybe I should have left the interior light on and maybe, maybe .... maybe? I've got both hands full and the cat pops her head up right from the drivers seat. I take off running to sever her presence at my address and she beats it out the door before I can get it closed. She know knows that its warm in there so I'm putting on my sneakers and I'll try again, this time with a low level approach so she doesn't see me and I'm not going to look for her I'm just going to ease the door closed and hope she's nice and comfy in the drivers seat.
