Do you have regular steel wheels or wider alloy wheels? Do you live in a place where it snows? These are all relevant questions.

For a camper, you need LT tires 'D' load range - don't get anything with a 'P' in front of

the size (passenger tires). The Michelin Agilis tire is a good choice. Someone recently posted about some Kumho tires which sounded suitable.

For a non-camper, which you will seldom run fully-loaded, in my opinion, you can get away with 6-ply passenger tires (4 ply tread, 2 ply sidewall), but I would only use them in the P215/70-14 size. Any smaller and the load index will be insufficient, any bigger and you will have a problem getting them in the spare-wheel well.

No matter what tires you get, inflate them to the max pressure allowed and check the tire pressures regularly.

These are my opinions as a non-tire expert.
