I ordered an antenna for my '84 Wolfsburg about a year ago from Bus Depot. Cheap, made in China, plastic ferrule coated with 'plastic-chrome'; sent it back. I found a Vanagon antenna after that at www.planetsalvage.com and am pleased to say it is the original working antenna. BTW; lost my original antenna at a carwash; antenna WAS all the way down, but when one of them flannel-flappies wraps around yer antenna, forget it, man; it'll be toast. ...........Rodney
