Sounds a little slow to me. Our 1982 westy (manual tranny) does 0-60 in
something around 20-25 seconds, maybe less. I've never timed it, but it
is not 'noticeably' slow.

Have you checked to make sure the throttle cable is adjusted to open the
throttle fully? When I used to work in a garage we saw this malady a
number of times... poor performance, done everything else to fix it...
hop in the driver's seat and put foot to floor, (motor off) and witness
that the throttle is only 1/2 or 3/4 open.

Compression...100 to 118 on all four. California emissions vehicle.
Automatic. ECU swapped, no effect. O2 sensor checked, wired correctly
(shield
grounded). Temp sensors check out.
  I'd like to hear your opinion or experience.
