I tried a couple of things based on some good suggestions. The shift points are at the red marks on the speedo so I suspect that is what they wanted. But I did a run manually shifting the tranny and got 22 seconds to 50 and 40 seconds to 60 mph. That I can live with. I also took the AFM off and checked that the butterfly was completely open at full throttle. Since this is somewhat new to me, I tried the Ford Exploder and got 10.5 seconds to 60 mph. Can't wait to try the '63 Bug. My daughter (also the PO) named the bus Myrtle the Turtle.

Thanks, Steve and Myrtle
