Jim, You do not need my support but perhaps my clarification. I agree with you about self serving ebay ads however It is still ok for other list members to sponsor ebay inquiry if they find them worth noting for whatever? am I right here? regards gary Drew, et al;

Let's *not* post links to our ebay auctions on list... Most of us know how to use their search engine. If we're looking to participate in an auction, we'll look there first.

On the other hand, if you're clearing out your garage, don't hesitate to offer items on list. Fixed price or "best offer" is fine. "See my auction at ebaymotors" is not so fine.
