We use M&M Automotive in Aloha exclusively for my Westy syncro and my daughter's Westy, as well as my daily driver '76 bug. Nick Ellis is the owner. They are ex-VW people with lots of experience.

One of my favorite stories is when I had my van in the shop and Nick said it wouldn't be ready that day because he took a belt off of mine to put on a tourist's van that had broken down in the area. He didn't have the part and he knew it's what I would have done.

But with any shop, you still need to read the list and have a good idea of what causes what symptoms.
