I would tend to agree with John. I'm not sure how much I would use the 4wd capability. For the price of a syncro, you might be able to get an old 2wd westy plus a beater 4wd truck with a cheap camper shell for those offroad adventures and the truck can be adjusted with much higher clearance between ground and the bottom of the vehicle than the synchro. At least, I've never seen a synchro with really high ground clearance, but I think it's not common. Don't these syncros run about $9K now?
