I tried to resist, but have to get in on this one. ------------------- The high dependability of iMac and other Mac is partially in the hardware design and partially in the OS design, cemented by quality control. I'll defend PCs at economical but you'll never catch me defending Windows. UNIX based PCs don't have the failure rate of Win-Not even the Open Desktop with graphical interface. I can't comment on Linux other than that I installed it several times and never got the required compatible hardware required to make it fly. I was sincerely hoping this link was going to loose it momentum and slide into cyber trash before this AM. Mac users have a to the death loyalty so I've never converted one.
