Pressures should be always measured when tires are COLD, because the pressure rises when hot. Most car tires have a max inflation pressure of 35psi but many have a max of 44psi.

No passenger car tire is really suitable for a Westy. LT tires often take much higher pressures and you must inflate to the max pressure to get the max load index.
