The wires run up through the windshield pillar and along where the rear
headliner fabric contacts the steel around the windows, my Westy was on
the passenger side.
I used an old throttle cable to push through the windshield pillar and
then back to the rear. Tied my new wires a 4 wire shielded cable to the
rear.
You can just tie your new wires to the old ones and pull the new wires
right in along the same path. Gently.
