The Brooklands Book "Volkswagen Bus Camper Van" has several road tests of early vanagons (no westies):

Pickup, Van, & 4WD June 1980: 0-60mph 21.2, 1/4 mile 21.6 @ 60mph

Car August 1980, Panel Van: 0-100kph (62 mph) 26.7, 1km (1.62 miles) sprint 42.8 @111.5 kph

Road & Track July 1980, 7-Passenger, 0-60 21.2, 1/4 mile 21.5 @ 60.5

Modern Motor May 1982, Passenger Van, 0-100kph (62 mph) 24.77
