Well, amazing insight. Send one on. I have tried all literature sources available to me (not a small database), requested torque curves from private individuals on the subaruvanagon list and the subaru newsgroup. I have formally requested such info from Subaru of America and of the information office back at Fuji Heavy Industries. The replies from Subaru said, specifically, that their corporate policy was not to release any technical data on their engines other than peak torque and peak horsepower with the specific rpm value for those peaks.

So, no publication in the technical literature (in marked contrast to the VAG approach) and a policy of not releasing engine output curves. I say this is a policy of shame (choice of words carefully taken to attempt to stimulate a factual, not religious, response), precisely as I wrote. If you have the data, post it to the files area of the Subaruvanagon list and I will integrate it with the other conversion engine torque curve data.
