I just bought the part to fix mine... granted it is an '87 but I imagine it is the same setup.

The "Y-connectors" are NOT sold as an OEM part... the part is the black hard plastic tube,, with a "Y" on each end. It is custom bent, and does not come with the rubber grommet/gaskets that you need in the tank holes (P/N N 901 004 01 as I was corrected the other day on my posting).

my part number (from a german VW dealer) was 251 201 147 B... and I was told that changing out all the lines to the breater tanks would be a smart thing to do at the same time as repairing the broken "Y".
