  I'm sorry that I've not totally been following this
topic but I really need to understand why a Tii
question is such a big deal?

  I RARELY step in, but I feel it appropriate too at
this time.  I've been around the list quite a while
for those of you who have not.

  I have helped countless Vanagon owners over the
years both in obtaining parts and information to fix a
problem they may be having.  If it weren't for Gerry,
Coyote, Ron, Dennis and many other old timers, I
wonder where the list would be today??

  This is the Vanagon List, is it not?  The list is to
help those who need help, is it not?  Do we jump on
the person asking the same question that we've seen
weekly for the last 6 years?  Usually not.

  My point is NOT to rant.  My point is, YOU have a
delete button, exercise your finger if you don't like
the topic.  I can't tell you how tired I get of the
same stuff week in week out. I have learned to use my
delete key:)

  A Vanagon is a Vanagon, Ford Engine, Chevy Engine,
Subaru engine or an in line 4 VW engine.

  I'm sure I was not the only one taught to treat
others the way you want to be treated.
