There are only two wires on the little fan + and -. I just tied mine into the water pump power sypply. Its about 2 feet away on my 83 Westy. I installed one of those little mini toggles that is on the front panel of your stove for thr battery/water status. All of the tiny computer CPU fans are 12 volt.
