Subject: Vanagon Syncro Pics-Moab, UT
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

While in Moab, UT this weekend I came across a man from the list who lives in the L.A. area named John Wessler (I think). He was driving a Vanagon Syncro on the same "road" I was mt. biking. I took a few pics and put them on my website: http://communities.msn.com/BobsPhotoShare If you go there click on "Pictures" on the left margin, then at the top of the site, click on the small window (drop-down) and go to page 8. I've never come across a syncro on that terrain, or anywhere else in the Moab area and was impressed. It is "stock" except it has a modified front for clearance and has a 3" lift kit. Too bad I didn't get pics of it going over the 2 to 3 foot drops that it had to go up in order for me to catch it going down. The most amazing part: John's vehicle may have cost him 12 to 15K, all inclusive. The other vehicles were primarily German super-offroadies that usually range in the 40-60K area. Most impressive.
