There are chili cooking teams that attend these events.
One such team is called the Dallas Margarita Club, it not a nightspot or
restaurant just a bunch of well healed businessmen looking for a way to
get away from their wives for the weekend.
With the land so flat, heat so high, mountains so not, rivers son not,
nothing to shoot at but deer or the alternate of playing golf, Texans
tend to get consumed with frivolous things.
With the New Texas Motor Speedway we're expecting 8000 RVs (that is how
many RV spots they have) this coming weekend and these race attendees
have some pretty wild chili cook offs when the races aren't going on.
People are arriving already to get the best RV spots and the races are
next weekend.
A giant rainstorm just rolled through here with thunder and lightening so
bad the devil moved into my Westy.
The parking lot for these RVs is good old Texas mud, can you picture
being towed to your spot and then walking around in mud for a week?
