I'm not knocking any gadget that anybody wants to try.
I'm a fresh air nut, shame we haven't got any in my town ........ have to
get about 60 miles out to get fresh air.
I built a crazy little air vent that worked good for me.

AC that is in the third picture.
I'd think that you could build a good cooler with a tube type oil cooler
circulating water that was in a ice chest packed with ice, use a little
sink pump in a coil of copper tubing in the cooler to keep the water
flowing and a good Chinese PepBoys fan to blow past the oil cooler. What
a mess though.
