However, some audiophiles do claim that inverted "absolute polarity" is
audible, and some high-end components have a polarity reversal switch for
that reason.  (On the other hand, even if you could detect a difference
under better circumstances, it would scarcely be audible in a Vanagon while
driving down the road.)
