Dude, I live in SD (and grew up here) and head south whenever I can. Yo Habal poquito Espanol, but I always enjoy my time and the people I meet. I find them friendly, honest and unassuming. Stay clear of Zona Roja and you may have a similar experience.

nothing like third world TRASH to ruin a great vacation, i avoid the locals when down there, just stick to the coast and keep my nose KLEEN....honestly, i grew up around here (OC and SanDiego).......you can't trust ANY of them, they are out for the gringo dollar and numero UNO!!!!
