That is where I went before sinking so low as to go to the dealer. No dice, but then no cooperation in just looking for one that matches the inlet and outlet size. They just can't find one for a vanagon, so they don't care. I don't know much about VW parts, so I couldn't throw out a beetle application or whatever. Guess I should have asked here first.......

Its like Joel told me, the kids are inexpreienced, and no one stocks old stuff. I think its worse in that no one cares enough to just go find one that fits. I worked a parts counter for several years back during the model T age :-) and the personal touch is what made customers for us. "its not on the computer, so we don't have it" is the X generation's mantra. Why am I not surprised? :)

If it is the cube it is pn 133 133 511 bus depot has them or any flaps.

I see that number on the bus depot page, so I will buy it, and some other stuff from them. Flaps?? Got em on my airplane, but never seen a store with that name <g>

Thanks all for the advice. I still have a question for anyone that has the EXTA CD and nothing to do <g> Why isn't it on there? :-)

Regards from Utah,

John
