Jeff

If I remember correctly, my VW dealer, quoted me $2800.00 for the factory reman, warranteed for a year or 12,000 miles at any VW dealer in the world---this is what makes this much more appealing than MR. XYZ rebuilder's---what would happen if you just decided to take a trip and were in Podunk Nebraska?

You would be in big trouble with the brand X engine ( and this includes any or all of the prominent list guru's of engine flim flam )

I would without a doubt not hesitate to spend a couple more dollar's for the VW engine, on this factor alone---

All depend's on how far you want to go with the path of least resistance---

Have a nice Easter---
