I'd suggest that you look for a Westy in a NO RUST zone. You may have to pay more, fly or drive farther to see it and possibly even truck it back home but the rewards of having a nice Westy vs a long term project are worth the time and money. You will not have to learn terms like seam rust, POR15, bondo, naval jelly and you'll be able to just delete those post as they come in. List members can tell you where the no rust zones are. Check www.westfalia.org for their for sale vans.
