Re-read the post.  I said LOWER RPM range.  Unless you have impossibly tall tires, or an incredibly low ratio final gear ratio in your transmission, there is NO way you can cruise at highway speed below 3000 RPM, regardless of which engine you use.  BTW, the <F> in the subject line indicates my post was meant in jest for Friday.

Uh - most of the time. When you get to highway speed and cruise you _usually_ don't need as much torque/HP.
