> HELP!! My 1984 1.9l Westy van (with manual steering and transmmission, > Michelin Agilis tires and 177,000 miles) has a problem. Whenever I drive at > highway speeds (between 50 and 62 MPH), I notice that the fresh air vents > don't blow air when they are turned off. Steve, I would suggest a tire alignment. At the least check your timing. A brake adjustment helped when I had a similar problem, but I noticed that air flow increases when I pull up on the emergency brake handle violently, especially at speeds above 90 MPH when not wearing a seatbelt. Hope this helps, Chris. |
