I can answer that one easily. They're identical; they come from the same
manufacturer.

The backing is pretty thick so it wants to return back to its original
(flat) position. The carpet may tend to curl slghtly for a very short period
of time but will sit flat in no time. I believe it took a day or two for
the rear carpet in my Westy to sit flat when I first put it in.

It's 5% off orders over $50, excluding special-orders/made-to-order items,
sale items, gift certificates, and orders that are already getting some
other sort of promotional discount or offer. (In other words you cannot
"stack" two different discounts on the same item.) Officially the carpet
set won't qualify because it's made to order, but they might let it slide.
I'm not the one who will process the carpet order so I can't say for sure.
I'd say you have about a 50-50 shot at getting the discount anyway,
depending on whether the employee who ships your carpet is in a good mood
that day and decides to give you a break. :-) So it certainy can't hurt to
request it anyway and cross your fingers. To request your listmember
discount, either ask for it when ordering by phone, or if ordering via the
website ask for it in the comments section of the order form.
Another hint: Since the first pound costs the most to ship, if you're
ordering a large item like a carpet, you will save on shipping by
considering what else you may need in the near future (oil filters, tune up
parts, etc.) and putting them on the same order, versus as a separate order
later. This is kind of "taking advantage of the system" in a way, because
our computer charges you based on the assumption that everything will ship
together, even though in fact the carpet kit will ship separately - so even
though we'll end up paying to ship two boxes you'll only pay for one.
