Karl........My '84 Wolfy has about 201,000 miles on it
right now and the PO said he had always used 15/50
Mobil 1, which I have stayed with. Are you suggesting
something different? It can get warm here in western
North Carolina (Appalachian Mtns.) but only gets to
about 88 to 90 degrees at the hottest part of the
summer. It drops down to 0 to 10 ndegrees at the
lowest in the winter. That's the reasoning that I have
stayed with the 15/50 Mobil 1. The engine does not
burn any oil, but I have some blow-by happening, as
well as some dripping on the pavement. Some say the
Wolfy is just marking its territory, but I'd like to
use the right oil in her and find the leak, too.
