Whoa there before someone does something REAL dangerous... Old Mr. B had it backwards. Just verified with the manual that came with my Victor oxy-acetylene setup that I purchased 2 weeks ago. I quote, "open the oxygen valve fully to seat the packing nut, open the acetylene AT THE MOST 1.5 turns and preferalby .75 turns to just allow the gas pressure to register on the gauge."
