It's that time of year again, at least here in Arizona. Last year there was some discussion about A/C leak sealers. Did anyone ever use one and get good results? The product I looked at last year was from Interdynamics. Supposed to seal leaks in rubber parts as well as metal parts, but you had to immediately follow up with a charge of refrigerant to keep from sealing the service port as well. This year, they have it as a two part system. The first seals metal leaks, followed immediately with #2 can which seals rubber leaks and cleans the service port. Okay, I admit it, I threw caution to the wind (hot air, actually) and used it. Drove up to Sedona and back and the A/C still works. Won't know for a month or so whether it seal the leaks, they are pretty slow. Jerry |
