I have the opportunity to buy a 75 BHP VW 1.9 diesel engine. From what I understand, it was used only very slightly for test purposes by VW. I don't know if it's a USA or Canadian engine, but it not the turbo. The price is right and with an air-cooled gearbox it should be a real improvement in my 82 diesel Vanagon. I was wondering if anyone has experience with this motor and has any comments on how well it may work, fit, etc. Thanks in advance y'all.
