I have at my shop a Syncro Double Cab that we will be installing a VR6 motor into during the next few weeks. Pictures are coming - we are doing the wasserboxer pull this weekend and building the mounts next weekend. Should be a fun project and yes, once it is done a kit will be available. Just to answer the questions everyone will have - no it will not fit under the engine cover no matter what angle you mount it at ;0 David Marshall Fast Forward Automotive Inc. 4356 Quesnel Hixon Road Quesnel BC Canada V2J 6Z3 http://www.fastforward.ca mailto:sales@fastforward.ca Phone: (250) 992 7775 FAX: (250) 992 1160 - Vanagon Accessories and Engine Conversions - Vanagon, Transporter and Iltis Sales and Importation - European Lighting for most Volkswagen models -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com]On Behalf Of Chris Winesette Sent: April 5, 2002 8:30 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: VR6 Vanagon
Has anyone ever done a conversion like this. Any pics? Is there a conversion kit you can buy? |
