I like the Westleys Black Magic Trim and Tire Treatment. It works great on the black bumper ends of chrome bumpers, non-power mirror housings, rear vent louvers, the gas cap and surrounding filler piece and tires. I also use it on the interior plastic pieces. It has the consistancy of a gel and lasts 3-6 months when exposed to the elements. Its available at most chain FLAPS or here: http://www.autobarn.net/chbm8.html Tim Hannink Goldibox - 1987 Vanagon Camper, Wolfsburg Edition Winter Park, Florida http://home.earthlink.net/~tjhannink/ http://photos.yahoo.com/tjhannink Vanagon Album . > pensioner <al_knoll@PACBELL.NET>@gerry.vanagon.com> on 04/01/2002 04:28:22 > PM > > Please respond to pensioner <al_knoll@PACBELL.NET> > > Sent by: Vanagon Mailing List <vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com> > > > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > cc: > Subject: Staying in the black > > > So what is the net.wisdom on keeping your bumpers black?
